The last Sun Country flight has been postponed, a company spokesman told local media.
The flight to the Sun Valley, Idaho, airport is scheduled to depart at 7 p.m.
PT, and be in service by 7:45 p..m., according to the company.
Sun Country Aviation had been scheduled to take off on a Sun Country Airlines Boeing 737-800 plane, but was forced to cancel the flight after the plane ran out of fuel.
The plane’s captain told the pilot, “I can’t go anymore,” according to local news station KOTV.
The pilot requested to be sent to the cockpit and the flight was canceled.
Sun County Aviation, the parent company of Sun Country, told the Associated Press that the flight has already been delayed by “hours” because of fuel shortages.
SunCountry spokesman Kevin Wimmer told The Associated Press in a statement that the last flight was scheduled to fly on Sunday and that Sun Country’s flight from New Jersey to San Francisco was delayed by several hours because of a fuel shortage.
