India’s capital is home to some of the world’s best airports, with flights from major cities such as Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai being among the most frequent routes.
Here are our tips for finding the best way to travel to and from New Delhi to Chennai, Bengaluru and other major cities in India.
If you’re visiting Delhi, visit the airport firstIf you’re in India for work or school and you’re looking for a cheap, reliable flight, look for flights to the airport from at least two airports in Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru.
From there, you can check the best fares from the airport on a smartphone app or through a travel agency.
In fact, the cheapest fares to Bengaluru, for example, cost around Rs 1,000 per flight, with most airlines charging less than Rs 200.
In terms of availability, most flights depart from the Delhi airport, while those to New Bombay depart from New Bangalore.
